Our university received the 'Zero Waste Certificate' from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change with the Zero Waste Management System it established.
Our university was entitled to receive a 'Zero Waste Certificate' with the Zero Waste Management System it established based on a healthy, clean, sustainable and safe environment, within the scope of the Zero Waste Regulation published in the Official Gazette No. 30829 dated July 12, 2019.
Our University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız stated that, as Gazi University, they attach great importance to the issue of zero waste, and that zero waste practices are followed meticulously in all our campuses and that they organize trainings to inform our staff on this issue.
Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız stated that our University continues its activities such as recycling, preventing waste, using resources more efficiently, reducing waste, and separating waste correctly at the source in line with the zero waste project.
Our Rector Prof. emphasized that they were entitled to receive a 'Zero Waste Certificate' by fulfilling the criteria determined by the Ministry. Dr. Yıldız thanked the administrators, staff and students who contributed to obtaining and maintaining the certificate.
